How to Use EmojiYonker - Discord Emoji Import Bot
Complete guide on how to use EmojiYonker to import emojis from other Discord servers, manage your emoji collection, and track your import statistics.
Who it's for: Discord server administrators and members who want to import and organize custom emojis from other servers into their own.
Outcome: You will know how to import single and multiple emojis, list and search your server emojis, view your import statistics, and understand rate limits and requirements.
Prerequisites
- Discord server with available emoji slots
- EmojiYonker bot already added to your server
- You have "Manage Emojis and Stickers" permission
- Bot has "Manage Emojis and Stickers" permission
Installation
- 1
Get emoji format from another server
To import an emoji, you need its Discord format. Copy an emoji from any Discord server by right-clicking it and selecting "Copy" or using the emoji picker. The format will look like `<:emojiname:123456789>` for static emojis or `<a:animatedname:123456789>` for animated emojis.
- 2
Import your first emoji
Use the `/steal` command with the emoji format you copied. The bot will validate the format, check for duplicates, download the emoji, and add it to your server. You'll get clear feedback on success or any errors.
/steal emojis:<:emoji:123456789> - 3
Import multiple emojis at once
You can import up to 20 emojis in a single command by separating them with spaces. This is much faster than importing one at a time. The bot will process each emoji and show you results for all of them.
/steal emojis:<:emoji1:123> <:emoji2:456> <a:animated:789>
Configuration
- 1
List all server emojis
View all emojis in your server. The list separates static and animated emojis and shows total counts. You can optionally search for specific emojis by name.

Common Errors & Quick Fixes
❌ Bot doesn't respond to commands
Fix: Check if bot is online (green status). Verify bot has "Use Slash Commands" permission. Commands may take up to 1 hour to appear globally. Refresh Discord if needed.
❌ Permission denied or Missing permissions
Fix: Ensure you have "Manage Emojis and Stickers" permission. Check bot's role has the permission. Verify bot's role is high enough in hierarchy. Contact support if permissions are missing.
❌ Rate limit errors
Fix: Wait before using the command again. Current limit is 5 commands per minute. The bot will automatically clean up expired rate limit entries.
❌ No emoji slots available
Fix: Your server emoji slots are full. Free servers have 50 slots, Boost Level 1 has 200, Boost Level 2 has 300, and Boost Level 3 has 500. Remove unused emojis to free up slots.
❌ Emoji too large
Fix: Standard limit is 256KB per emoji. Boost Level 2+ servers can use emojis up to 512KB. Try importing a smaller emoji or boost your server.
❌ Invalid emoji format
Fix: Make sure you copied the emoji correctly. The format should be `<:name:id>` for static or `<a:name:id>` for animated. Copy directly from Discord, don't type it manually.
